Jayalath manoratne

  Manoratne was born on 12 June 1948 in Dehipe,   Nuwara Eliya   as the youngest son in the family of six children. His father Keselgaspe Manatunga Perera was a lorry driver and mother Agalakotuwa Herath Mudiyanselage Leela Kumari was a housewife. He undertook his education at the Dehipe Primary School and Poramadulla Central College. Jayalath has three brothers, Manatunga Seneviratne, Manatunga Wijeratne and Manatunga Ariyaratne and two sisters, Indra Kumari and Mallika Kumari. At an early age, his music teacher, Sunil Sriyananda, recognised his abilities and encouraged him to take up acting and singing. Gunananda thera

  Gunananda Thera was born in 1823 to a rich Buddhist   Sinhala   Salagama   caste family in a village called Migettuwatta or Mohottiwatta, near   Balapitiya . His   secular name   was   Wanigamuni Miguel Mendes Wimalarathna . ]   Taught first by his parents, he exhibited oratorical skills from a young age. He had close contact with a Roman Catholic priest, who resided in a nearby church, and gained knowledge of the   Bible and   Christian doctrine .   Originally intending to become a priest, he changed his mind after coming into contact with Buddhist monks from the nearby temples. Anagarika Dharmapala

Maduwanwela walawwa🏚️

  Maduwanwela Walawwa  is a  Walauwa located in upper South of  Sri Lanka . Situated in the town of  Kolonne , which lies between  Embilipitiya  and  Suriyakanda  in  Ratnapura District , a distance of 207 km (129 mi) from the  Colombo .   Maduwanwela  Walawwa  dates back to the reign of King   Wimaladharmasuriya II   (1687-1707 AD). [2]   It was built by Maduwanwela Maha Mohottala in the 1700s and was expanded numerous times by the Maduwanwela family until 1905 when the final expansion was undertaken by   Maduwanwela Maha Disawe .
